RIBA Sussex: Building visit – Streat Hill Farmhouse

Set within the South Downs this RIBA South East Awards 2026 shortlisted project (High House) is a carefully crafted new home that explores low-energy design, natural materials and a sensitive response to landscape and rural context.

The visit will include a tour of the house led by the project architect, BakerBrown Studio, offering insight into the design process, construction approach and sustainability strategies employed throughout the project. This will be an opportunity to experience the building first-hand and discuss the challenges and opportunities of delivering high-quality contemporary architecture in a rural setting.
