Clare Howard, a researcher with Heritage England, has written a monograph on the life and work of Pearson who is best known for designing Truro Cathedral. She will be focusing on two of his churches in Hove: the monumental All Saints’ Church on the corner of Grand Avenue and Eaton Road—where this lecture will be held—and the more modest but equally interesting church of St Barnabas in Sackville Road.
